∇ How have the impairments been chosen?
For GERT only impairments have been chosen that comply with solid scientific knowledge about natural ageing processes. Due to the modular design of GERT it is possible to replace components simulating natural ageing processes with components simulating morbid ageing processes, e.g. the tremor simulator.
∇ What age is simulated by GERT?
There is not "the" elderly person. The individual differences could be very large. That's why GERT doesn't simulate a specific state of age. Based on the age and the constitution of the proband an age will be simulated, according to an ageing of about 30 to 40 years. The increase of age can be reduced because GERT is scalable.
∇ Does GERT suits small and tall, thick and thin?
The components of GERT are really suitable for any size and figure - nothing swings or dangles. GERT optimally conforms to the users body and is worn over the regular clothes. Therefore, an overall has been renounced. If you like too, you can certainly wear an overall, e.g. in a corporate look, under or over the components of GERT.
∇ How long does it take to put on GERT?
The components of GERT are put on in 2-3 minutes. It works best by twos. A pictorial manual is supplied, but the use is really self-explanatory. The test person can experience the impairments step by step while applying.
∇ Is GERT durable and long-lasting?
All components of GERT are of highest quality and practically indestructible. Of course there is a 2 years warranty on every part as described in the GTC. Should however a part get damaged or lost, we naturally deliver the separate part subsequently.
∇ Can GERT be tested before purchasing?
You have the right to return within 14 days according to our GTC. If you are not satisfied with GERT send him back and we will cancel the invoice. The purchase is absolutely without risk as evidenced by the list of satisfied costumers.
∇ How long does it take before GERT arrives?
Usually the age simulation suit GERT is available from stock, so he will arrive within 14 days after we received your order. In case you need GERT at a fixed date, please clarify the availability as soon as possible. If you do not need GERT immediately, we willingly deliver close to the desired date.
