Collection, storage and processing of personal data

Data is thus considered personal if it can be clearly assigned to an individual physical person. Your personal data (e.g. name, address, email address, telephone number, etc.) will be processed by us in accordance with European data protection laws. The legal basis of data protection can be found in the EU General Data Protection Regulation. We are committed to the protection of your data in a special way, which is why we store and process the data provided by you only as far as this is necessary for the processing of your enquiry or your order. We also use publicly available sources, such as your website, to check or supplement missing data. We collect, store and process personal data also on the basis of our legitimate interest in informing potential customers. In principle, we try to collect as little personal data as possible. The passing on of personal data to third parties takes place according to the valid legal regulations and as far as this is necessary for the processing of your enquiry or for the fulfilment of your order. This also includes the passing on of data, as far as this serves to guarantee the fulfilment of your order. For example, we may also forward the names, telephone numbers and email addresses of goods recipients to transport service providers.

Information, revocation and deletion

As to the legal provisions, you can contact us for free if you have any questions regarding the collection, processing, or use of your personal information, or if you request that your data be corrected, blocked, or deleted, or if you wish to revoke consent. You also have the right to correct inaccurate data or deletion of your personal data, provided that deletion is not contrary to any legal obligation of retention. We delete personal data after the legal retention period has expired.

Data portability

You have the right to have your personal data, which you have provided to us and which we have processed automatically, transferred to you or to a third party in machine-readable form, provided that this is technically feasible for us.

Right to lodge a complaint

As an EU citizen, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement if you consider that the processing of personal data relating to you infringes the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

Use of the website linked to this data protection declaration

The use of this website is possible without providing personal data. The use of individual services from our site may result in differing regulations; these cases are explained separately below.

Cookies

We do NOT use so-called cookies on this website; these are small text files with which data is stored on the device from which you are visiting a website. Please note that cookies may be set by the software you use or by third-party websites that integrate the content of our website or refer to it. Cookies may also be set if you follow external links on this website or call up integrated third-party content. We have no influence over this.

Data transfer

You cannot transfer any personal data to us via this website. We offer you the opportunity of contacting us by email on this website. In this case, the email containing the personal data therein will be stored. We point out that any data transmission, even by email, can open up security gaps; complete protection against access by third parties is therefore impossible.

SSL or TLS encryption

This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. We would like to point out that data transmission using SSL or TLS encryption can also have security gaps.

Server data

For technical reasons, the following data that your Internet browser transmits to our web space provider or to us is collected (so-called server log files): browser type and version; operating system used; website from which you are visiting us; website that you visit; date and time of your access; your IP address. This anonymous data is stored separately from any personal data you may submit and will not be traced back to a specific person. It is used for statistical purposes to improve our website and our services.

Use of YouTube components with privacy-enhanced mode

On this website, we use components (videos) from YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, a company of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. If you are ordinarily resident in the European Economic Area or Switzerland, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, is the data controller responsible for processing your data and for complying with applicable data protection laws. When utilising Youtube components, we use the option “privacy-enhanced mode” provided by YouTube. When you visit an internet page that has an embedded video, a connection to the YouTube servers is established, and the content is displayed on the internet page by notifying your browser. According to the information provided by YouTube, in “privacy-enhanced mode”, data is only transmitted to the YouTube server when you watch the video, in particular, which of our internet pages you have visited. If you are logged in to YouTube at the same time, this information will be associated with your YouTube account. You can prevent this by logging out of your member account before visiting our website. For more information provided by Google about YouTube’s data protection, visit the following link: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en

Use of Google Ads (formerly AdWords)

We may use the “Google Ads” advertising tool provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, to promote this website. If you are ordinarily resident in the European Economic Area or Switzerland, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, is the data controller responsible for processing your data and for complying with applicable data protection laws. In the context of Google Ads, we do NOT use the “conversion tracking” analysis service. Further analysis of the visits to this website by clicking on a Google Ads advert does not, therefore, take place. For more information provided by Google about data protection, visit the following link: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en

General recommendations for data protection on the internet

We recommend that you make it more difficult to automatically collect your data and track your activities on the internet. For this we give you the following tips: install add-ons in your browser to disable analytics services; set your browser to automatically delete all cookies and history when you close your browser, or set your browser not to accept cookies or to create a history; log out of websites with a required login before you leave them; always log out after using social media. Use information about yourself on the internet very carefully and sparingly. Consider your personal information a valuable asset that you need to protect.
